All reviews are manually moderated before being published. Our team checks each submission against our Review Guidelines to ensure content is factual, relevant, and free from abusive language. Supporting documents may be requested or reviewed to improve trust and moderation quality. We do not publish reviews automatically.
Homredy is a tenant-first platform. At this stage, we do not offer landlord accounts or response features. Our focus is on empowering renters with honest, community-driven information.

Homredy was built out of a simple frustration: why do tenants have to rely on 30-minute site visits and gut feeling to make one of the biggest decisions of their year? Real tenant reviews for smarter rental decisions — that's what we're here to enable.
The problem
Landlords have years of experience navigating lease agreements, deposit deductions, and tenant turnover. First-time renters — and even experienced ones — often have only a short site visit, photos on a listing portal, and an agent's word to go on.
What they can't easily discover: Is the water supply reliable? Does the owner respond to maintenance requests? Were previous tenants' deposits returned fairly? Was the apartment actually in the condition shown?
This information exists — but it's locked inside the experiences of the people who came before you.
Our solution

Homredy is a community-powered platform. The value of every review depends on its honesty, accuracy, and fairness. These guidelines exist to maintain trust for everyone who uses Homredy — including you.
All reviews are manually moderated before publication. Homredy reserves the right to remove, edit, or decline to publish any review that violates these guidelines.
Reviews must reflect your direct experience as a tenant at that property. Do not submit reviews on behalf of others, for properties you have not rented, or based on second-hand accounts.
Only include claims you know to be true from your own experience. Avoid exaggeration. If you are unsure of a fact, leave it out rather than risk inaccuracy.
Helpful reviews describe specific events, timelines, and situations. "The landlord took 3 months to fix the water heater" is more useful than "the landlord was bad." Specificity builds trust.
Share both positives and negatives where relevant. Even a difficult rental experience may have had aspects that were acceptable. Honest, balanced reviews are the most credible.
Reviews must not contain insults, threats, intimidation, or aggressive language directed at any individual or business. Express your experience in civil, measured terms.
Reviews must not contain content that discriminates based on religion, caste, race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
Do not make claims that you cannot substantiate from your own direct experience. False or defamatory allegations are grounds for immediate removal and may have legal consequences.
Do not include full names, phone numbers, email addresses, financial information, ID numbers, or other personal details of individuals in your review.
Reviews are for genuine rental experiences only. Promotional content, advertisements, links, or unrelated content will be removed.
Property owners, agents, or anyone with a financial interest in a property may not submit reviews for that property. This includes reviews intended to artificially improve ratings.

Homredy operates as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 ("IT Rules"). We host user-generated content (reviews) and do not author, edit the substance of, or independently verify that content. We comply with the due diligence requirements under the IT Rules, including publishing these Terms and our Review Guidelines, responding to lawful requests from government and law enforcement authorities, and operating the grievance redressal mechanism described below.
In accordance with Rule 3(2) of the IT Rules, we have appointed a Grievance Officer to address complaints regarding content published on the Platform.
If you believe a review contains false allegations, defamatory content, discriminatory content, or violates our Review Guidelines, you may submit a complaint to the Grievance Officer with the specific URL or review identifier, the basis for your complaint, and your contact details. We will assess the complaint against our Review Guidelines and applicable law, and may request additional information before making a decision. We reserve the right to remove, restrict, or retain content pending review, and our decision on a complaint is final.
Nothing in this section obligates Homredy to proactively monitor content beyond the moderation process described in our Review Guidelines, except as required by applicable law or a valid order from a competent court or government authority.
All Platform design, code, branding, logos, and non-user-generated content are the property of Homredy and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or use Platform materials without prior written consent.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Platform with a revised date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
